His appraisal experience includes five years with an appraisal firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. Areas of specialization have included senior housing facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and congregate care developments. Over 170 appraisals or market studies have been completed on these facilities. These appraisals have been prepared for HUD, life insurance companies, and banks. Mr. Dodds received the MAI designation in 1991, and the CCIM designation in 1994. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the states of South Carolina and North Carolina.
